After the much earned success with FIFA 11, EA Sports is, once again, hard at work on their next installment in the series: FIFA 12. But despite the huge success, the game wasn’t perfect; at least not perfect in the eyes of EA Canada’s producer David Rutter. Rutter explained that there was still “an enormous shopping list” of improvements to add into FIFA 12. Rutter also specified some details on what the “shopping list” contained.
“I think we did a great job with the Personality Plus feature [in FIFA 11, but the the teams [AI] doesn’t support that quite as much as it should,” he said. “As an example, a team doesn’t spot that if Peter Crouch is in the area, they can lay a load of high balls onto his head.”
